NEIPM’s Paramedic program fulfills a crucial role in the rapidly expanding field of healthcare, responding to the increasing demand for highly trained professionals. As a vital part of the emergency medical services (EMS) team, paramedics are the most extensively trained providers in pre-hospital settings, specializing in responding to medical emergencies and delivering critical care that often proves life-saving.

Paramedic education encompasses a wide range of advanced skills, including patient assessment, advanced airway management, cardiac care, and advanced cardiac life support. Students have the opportunity to become proficient in procedures such as intubation, ECG monitoring, 12-lead ECG interpretation, defibrillation, IV therapy, medical administration, and more.

Through a combination of classroom learning and hands-on experience in clinical, hospital, and field settings, our program will equip you to become a competent entry-level paramedic in the cognitive (knowledge), psychomotor (skills), and affective (behavior) learning domains.
