Next PARAMEDIC Course Starting June 2024

NEIPM’s Paramedic program fulfills a crucial role in the rapidly expanding field of healthcare, responding to the increasing demand for highly trained professionals. As a vital part of the emergency medical services (EMS) team, paramedics are the most extensively trained providers in pre-hospital settings, specializing in responding to medical emergencies and delivering critical care that often proves life-saving.

Paramedic education encompasses a wide range of advanced skills, including patient assessment, advanced airway management, cardiac care, and advanced cardiac life support. Students have the opportunity to become proficient in procedures such as intubation, ECG monitoring, 12-lead ECG interpretation, defibrillation, IV therapy, medical administration, and more.

Through a combination of classroom learning and hands-on experience in clinical, hospital, and field settings, our program will equip you to become a competent entry-level paramedic in the cognitive (knowledge), psychomotor (skills), and affective (behavior) learning domains. This comprehensive training program will empower you to make critical decisions, provide compassionate care, and assume a leadership role at the scene of an emergency. As a paramedic, you serve as the vital link between the patient and the hospital, leaving a lasting impact on a patient’s well-being long after your work is completed.

The NEIPM/BHS/MCPHS Consortium for Paramedic Education program has been issued a Letter of Review by the Committee on Accreditation of Educational Programs for the Emergency Medical Services Professions (CoAEMSP Executive Office). This letter is NOT a CAAHEP accreditation status, it is a status signifying that a program seeking initial accreditation has demonstrated sufficient compliance with the accreditation Standards through the Letter of Review Self Study Report (LSSR) and other documentation. Letter of Review is recognized by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) for eligibility to take the NREMT's Paramedic credentialing examination(s). However, it is NOT a guarantee of eventual accreditation.   To contact CoAEMSP Executive Office: 8301 Lakeview Parkway Suite 111-312 Rowlett, TX 75088 214703-8445 FAX 214-703-8992 www.coaemsp.org"
